Harmonics... Vibrational Resonance... Sympathetic Frequencies...

Harmony is a concept we can understand. We can usually tell when a relationship is harmonious or not. We can hear when a harmonic chord is played in a song or when a note is missed thus making it fall into discord.

There are also harmonies in a spiritual or metaphysical context. We each carry a certain vibrational frequency, our soul tone, if you will. There is a great variety, and none are better than others, only different. As such we will find ourselves 'in tune' or harmonious with some people, and rather discordant with yet others. We have something to share, learn, and/or teach in all encounters, otherwise, we would not have the encounters. However, we tend to recognize and appreciate the harmonious encounters a bit more because they are pleasurable.

The notion of resonance has made its way into the mainstream. Most people understand when something is said to resonate. We usually mean that it feels right or rings true for us. It does not mean that we have found THE truth for ALL. It only means that the thing falls into harmony with our own soul's song. We should appreciate these concordances, and look to the discordances as opportunities to see what other souls may see, just to experience part of our infinite variety.
