I'm not sure how clear it is for everyone else, but it's not at all clear to me whether detailed spirits I encounter are my own past lives or separate entities. In the long run, since we are all One, I guess it doesn't matter. In the broadest sense, we are all aspects of THE spirit of life which infuses the Universe and so, I may simply be experiencing aspects (other than myself) very stongly.

Some people say they identify very closely with their own past lives and so they know when the other is Other. Well, I identify with seemingly every person I meet, living or not, on some level. So, I can't use that as a demarcation. Considerable empathy and intuition sometimes make it difficult to tell where I begin and end, even in hard core physical reality.

With spirit communications, the veil is thin or sometimes dissolved, including the part that divides Self from Other(s). But, maybe that's just me OR maybe I haven't met any Others yet. I find that difficult to believe since some of my contacts are famous and I tend to wonder if I really am that closely tied with the well-known.

Whether they are other iterations of me, or I am an iteration of them, or we are separate, other than being together in the Oneness... I resonate deeply with certain identities. I am working on writing up the list and the resonances with each. I have visited with them, either in meditation or dreams and visions, or with a rush of memory and recognition as I studied their works expressed in their way. At the very least, I credit them for walking this path before me and thank them for sharing what they learned.

There is a theory that perhaps all iterations are simultaneous, and that sometimes we simply see across the parallel lines into these lives which co-exist in a perpetual Now. This may be true. I do believe that past-present-future is a lot more fluid than our linear understanding. I believe each may be influenced by the other and that we and our 'other' selves can work together through the veil. It can all seem rather complex though, like time travel, and so perhaps that's why we don't delve into it terribly often?

Still, as a resource of understanding, support, and information, I am always thrilled to have contact with... whomever these 'others' are... even if they're just more of 'me'.
