Other Power Sites? Possibly Africa, Hawaii I'm still working on the precise details of AEast and AWest so I haven't been able to thoroughly investigate these possibilities yet. However, here is the notion I want to explore: IF AEast and AWest create the virtual horizontal axis or pole across the Earth for drawing/generating energy, it is possible that points between them would be power substations to help circulate that energy over the surface of the Earth. This would ensure that the two main sites didn't just pass energy back and forth through the planet. Based on geographic location and preliminary survey, northern Africa appears to be a prime candidate, not only for operation prior to the destruction, but as evidence of it. I believe that northern Africa was at one time the same lush and rolling landscape as the rest of Africa, but the event which destroyed Atlantis literally ground the land formations into sand. By the same token and force, a large area in the Pacific Ocean was disintegrated. As substations, these sites were recipients of nearly the forces which destroyed AEast and AWest. Yet they would not have been involved in the production of that energy. Africa is a deep and stable continent, solid in construction, so it did not get whipped into islands like AEast and AWest. It was merely sheered off into desert conditions. On the other hand, the central Pacific area, which I believe was clusters of islands to begin with, had no such geologic stamina. What began as greater islands became silt on the ocean floor, or clouds of dust in the air. Much of this land may have washed onto the coastline of the Americas. There isn't much left to investigate in the central Pacific but the Hawaiian Islands may be a clue. They've been somewhat preserved by an eye in the ocean currents. In Africa, Djibouti is the deep point which may correlate to Challenger Deep and Milwaukee Deep for AEast and AWest, respectively. That is also about where the tectonic plate beneath the Sinai Peninsula breaks from the African and Indo-Australian plates, which may be another clue. My current suspicion is that the African power substation was in Sudan or Chad, or at least somewhat south of Egypt. This would line up with AEast and AWest. It would also then be reasonable for migration of Atlanteans into the Nile delta region. Deeper into Africa would not have been as habitable or inviting. Note: Part of the leveling of northern Africa was also done by a huge meteor strike prior to the last destruction. Some of the impact ridge remains, but much of it was sheered off during the destruction, with the rest of what is now the Sahara. Next in Sequence Select From Menu |
