Remembrance

If Atlantis was real, why is there no 'real' evidence? Why can't we find archaeologically and scientifically verifiable details to support its existence? Why is there no 'real' record?

There is evidence, but we haven't recognized it, although we're beginning to. Perhaps if we explore such an event from a more familiar scenario, we will better understand why it's so difficult to remember.

What if our Cold War fears had been realized? What if tension among the superpowers had reached a point of global thermonuclear war? How much and how many would survive such anhilation? And, how might our entire civilization be perceived, or even remembered, thousands of years afterward? What would remain to attest to all we'd done throughout recorded history? With the obliteration of political, economic, social, religious, scientific, and educational centers... What would remain to even hint that we were ever here or could begin to tell who we were?

In the wake of global devastation, there would be survivors, albeit very small pockets of them. It would be most unfortunate that those who knew precisely what happened, ie, those close to the fray, would have been disintegrated in the event(s). So, only remote knowledge, rumor, and supposition would be available to those far enough away from the action to outlive it. Devices, information, keepsakes, any evidence would be very scant, for that too would have been demolished. There are very few souvenirs to be gleaned from complete destruction. Even less which might offer a full explanation.

The small and isolated clusters of people would struggle at first, merely to survive. After all, the environmental impacts would reach areas which hadn't even been in the direct line of fire. Any previous supply lines for goods, services, or information would be gone. Most of the survivors might be completely outside the technocracy, knowing agriculture and husbandry more than how to rebuild a whole lost civilization. Depending on the effects of the devastation, mankind could in fact be literally thrown back into a Stone Age condition, or near it.

Presumably the remnants would eventually begin to build again, perhaps with a desire to get back to what was a more advanced existence with many benefits. Yet they would be extremely cautious as well, wanting to avoid the same end, without really understanding what happened. As for the story of what had happened, much would be forgotten, and the rest surely distorted with each telling, just like a rumor.

One must wonder how long it would take, how many generations upon generations, for the survivors to achieve the level previously attained. Even with a smattering of knowlege left over, none of it would be complete enough to simply put everything back into place. There would be long painstaking centuries of literally reinventing all the wheels, and in the process, the design of those wheels would surely change. So, it would not simply be a matter of replacing or duplicating, but creatively solving new puzzles too.

This was precisely the situation after Atlantis. The scant details and items which might carry some Atlantean secrets have become buried or muddled over such a long period of time. The history became legend and myth to such extent that it is believed by many to be nothing more than pure fiction. But, we scoff at 'old wives tales' even as we continue to quote them and we also repeatedly find that they contain common sense and wisdom. These truths of daily life exist across all our imaginary boundaries of culture, race and geography. Our scoffing of such things is naive, if not completely in error. Anything which has managed to carry forward for millenia, or even just centuries, inherently contains some pertinent message, perhaps even truth. The same is true for all the pieces from Atlantis flagging us today.

It is now time to see all the bits of Atlantis which have been scattered through countless generations and thousands of years. These shards have persisted, for we have carried them, often as fanciful notions we simply found appealing. Some of us are beginning to acknowledge these sparkling chips as clues. We are seeing more and more hints. We are in fact recognizing physical evidence. The facets and factors are coalescing into a whirlwind of synchronicity which leads straight back to Atlantis, no matter how much we may try to deny it.

We are the survivors. We have been rebuilding and we've come a very long way. We should congratulate ourselves for our progress and for recovering from or avoiding the massive pitfalls we've encountered thus far. We have changed the game dramatically but viably and we're about to make rather critical moves to step up to the next level.

It is vital to remember Atlantis because, as the saying goes, if we do not learn from the past, we are doomed to repeat it. It is time to rediscover what happened to Atlantis so that we shall not do it again. In the process, we can also reap the rewards of restoring that which was scattered across the planet and sprinkled through our past.

The content of these pages reflects the understanding of individuals. It is not gospel. It is not compiled from the writings of others. If there are synchronicities, consider them validations, because they have surfaced independently. Use your own research, your own intuition, your own discernment, to find what is true for you. This is one version of Atlantis. And, this info is always in update mode as more is remembered. ~ All graphics are originals or believed to be public domain.
