Gemetaphysics is my term for the study and interpretation of physical features of the Earth (ie, dips, bumps, lines, shapes, anomalies, patterns, hazards, etc), often in the context of history, myth, legend, and metaphysical frameworks, especially energy concepts.

In the most basic and yet most profound sense, we are connected to the Earth.

This study is actually a blend of several disciplines as follows:

Geography ~ a science that deals with the description, distribution, and interaction of the diverse physical, biological, and cultural features of the Earth's surface; the geographic features of an area

Geology ~ a science that deals with the history of the Earth and its life especially as recorded in rocks; a study of the solid matter of a celestial body (as the moon); geologic features

Geomancy ~ divination by means of figures or lines or geographic features; reading the energy or flow of energy at locations on the Earth; or Geophrenology akin to reading the features of the human head as in ordinary phrenology (I may have coined 'Geophrenology', it is not in the dictionary.)

Geometry ~ a branch of mathematics that deals with the measurement, properties, and relationships of points, lines, angles, surfaces, and solids; configuration or surface shape; an arrangement of objects or parts that suggests geometric figures; in this case sometimes Sacred Geometry where more than mathematical meaning is applied to certain geometric figures and dynamics

Geophysics ~ a branch of Earth science dealing with the physical processes, composition, and phenomena of the Earth and its vicinity; areas of studies include meteorology, geology, seismology, volcanology, and oceanography; by extension, it often includes astronomy and related astro-sciences

Metaphysics ~ a division of philosophy that is concerned with the fundamental nature of reality and being, which includes cosmology (the nature of the universe); more comprehensive or transcending philosophical studies especially related to change or transformation

(most of the above definitions are paraphrased from Merriam-Webster Online)
