Aliens Among Us?

UFO's, alien invasions, ET visits... Real, Imagined or Government Conspiracy? I think our (US) government is perfectly capable of creating a myth and perpetuating it for funding. I think our government is also capable of hiding true alien contact for 50 years. I also think that it would be silly to worry about aliens.

If ETs have found us, they've done so through higher intelligence and technology than we have. I would hope for higher purposes and principles, but that wouldn't be guaranteed. In any case, they could hide or be seen. They will show themselves when they're darn good and ready. They could have wiped us out before we even knew it. They could have been watching us for centuries and set up Roswell to clue us in, a little at a time, so they don't give us one massive cardiac upon landing AND may have managed to keep most of our government (other countries too) in the dark. Maybe the governments are ashamed to admit that and that's the real cover up, cluelessness.

I'm not worried about ETs. If we tick them off, we'd likely not last long enough to even know it. If they think we deserve to live, then I'll be happy to meet them. If they tried something insidious in between, like species slavery, well, I hope they've done their homework on the human spirit, because we can get pretty gnarly when riled. We'd overcome or push them into anhilating us.

It's ok. I want to meet my Maker some day. I'm not picky about what day or why. Or my energy can just get blasted back into All That Is. I'm fine with that.
