Uncrating Us

Creativity and imagination are surely the most versatile ways for getting people to move outside the boxes that we (humanity) have built, thus limiting ourselves. It must be through mind and spirit and soul connection because our true existence is beyond our current levels of physical perception.

It requires more than cold facts and logic. We have to bring to bear all that we are, our full selves... which is everything we've been honing up until now and that which we have discounted or left unrecognized, usually through judgement dictated by the boxes. It may be in that reported 90% of the brain we haven't been using consciously. We get hints from tugs within these bodies, gut-level and emotional reactions which we seem so reluctant to acknowledge. It's all here, within each of us and it's reflected within the Universe. It's all Ours, separately and together.

We have used these boxes to get where we are. They were not wrong. They've just become ill-fitting and they're crashing up against each other as we try to fight from within to make them still fit. Building bigger boxes would suffice for a while. We'd grow into them but then we'd grow out of them again. Yes, the boxes feel comfy and safe for a while but they are, by definition, restrictive.

We are already advanced enough that many of us, like me, will accept no box of any kind, no matter how marvelous the description or how big it is. Once you define it in terms more specific than "Oneness", "Universe", "Infinity" or "All That Is", then you begin to set limits.

Now that a good portion of us are aware of the trap of such boxes, let us move beyond the concept of Box. Let us help each other climb out into freedom and expression and creativity and full use of the spirits we have kept under wraps for so long.

Am I just being impatient again? I am not egotistical enough to even contemplate that I am THE soul at the forefront of some Universal or even global movement. I must be one of countless others. We are here to learn what we can and help others do the same. The first big step in learning is to open up the mind.

Let us not free ourselves into a bigger box. I will not unshackle a slave then lock him into a larger holding cell and call that freedom.

There are many boxes still being built or being enlarged. We're so good at building them. I suppose it's useful, while in transition, to have a large variety of political, religious, neo-spiritual and even alien-theory boxes sitting around for people to try. But honestly, I look forward to the day when we all know that these are unnecessary. There is no Us and Them. It's all Us.
