Quicksilver

One of the reasons I call myself a 'quicksilver spirit' is because I flow with others and often act as mercury does on ore. I am well aware of the poisonous properties of mercury and that guard is always up. In more than casual contact, I tend to bond quickly and draw hidden precious ore from others then give it back to them in such a way that they recognize what wonders they themselves possess.

In truth, I take nothing, I merely uncover it. I'd be with you for a while then give you a gift, wrapped specifically to suit you, then assure you that the gift is not from me at all, but from yourself.

Maybe this sounds manipulative. I do not do it for my own purposes, other than to feel useful. My life would actually be much easier if I didn't do it at all, but it's a natural process carried on by a combination of who I am and who the other is. The bonding is by consent or it wouldn't happen, at least in my case. The precious metals can be knowledge, personality traits, spiritual features or silver linings in their lives which were previously undetected.

I seem to sense what others need, don't need, couldn't afford, don't want, want badly, need to spill off...etc. I am so aware of my potential for manipulation that I usually err on the side of inaction, which is something I'm working on. When it's active though, it feels perfectly natural. It's often no more than compassionate conversation, or turning the mirror to just the right angle such that the other can finally see their own light.

Yes, of course I am grateful for all the many people who help me in this way too.
