Diverse Layers

It is clear that we, as in Humanity, are seeking great changes. It is also clear to many of us that these changes will not likely occur in the usual way, that is, in the ways we've tried before. It's going to take something new which doesn't cause more problems than it solves. I believe the change is being effected in the background instead of whacking each other over the head with laws or military action. That is certainly a new tactic for Humanity to try.

No, by "background", I do not mean some clandestine takeover plan by a few meglomaniacs. I mean, the collective pool of consciousness in which we all participate, conciously or not. I feel it growing more conscious though and thus the layers of awareness come into play.

My take on the current progress of the transition is that the most fluid or 'softest' layers of our soul/human collective will shift first. This makes sense. Easier to move air than water. Easier to move water than ice or earth. Rock may never move. (...unless of course the axis is tilted? ;) Thus more moderate and open persons will facilitate the changes, probably leaving the extremists to catch up later, if at all.

I would expect the 'air' layer to be more spiritual, that is, concerned with much more than just property and the physical realm, and with a great concern that compassion is applied in all changes. This layer will likely see, feel and execute the changes before other more dense layers. The transformation will spread into the other layers from there, through action, both physical and spiritual. The sedimentary layer (extremists) may silt to the bottom and never wish to be moved. So be it. We can only try. They may not survive the changes, but only because of their own will.

So just for right now, if you look around you at the world, at governments and even societies as a whole, you may not see a lot of change, but the hints are there. The seeds have indeed been planted and more are planted every day.

The kid down the street may not be able to speak of All That Is or understand any spiritual dialogue, however, as he learns from friend to friend to friend that passing on a smile will bring smiles back to him, then, he becomes part of the change. It's all very simple. He already knows that punching someone will likely get him punched back. All he has to learn is the Yin to that Yang. 'Teachers' are springing up in the most unlikely places!

Look at movies, music, commercials, books... See the subtle hints that there is more to us than body and a subservient soul concept to go with a stock deity. There are suggestions that we have more power than logical and physical reality dictates. Right now, there's just a glimpse, now and then, a hint to wonder and possibly look further. These subtle messages begin to accumulate until there is an urge to begin discovery. The surface tension will give way.

The message is being diversified to appeal to our own diversity. Magic is on the move and we all get to watch it work, in fact, we are helping it along just by being here, now.
