Eschew obfuscation.
Something about proprietary terminology chafes. I believe that our human languages are complex enough that we need not create new catch phrases to describe how things work, especially spiritual things. Even though we cannot perhaps point at a concept in the same way we can point at an object, and say, "There! I mean that." We need not re-code in new terms. We need to UNcode and make it all as Universal as possible. There are a few exceptions where A word or new term could be developed for simplicity, but any which further complicate or narrow the definition of concepts to hard specifics would seem exclusory and counter-productive. Refer to the "KISS" Method... Keep It Simple, Stupid. :) AND, carrying forward words just because they were coined a few thousand years ago is not reason enough to obfuscate, in my opinion. If a truth is a TRUTH, it surely does not matter how it's spelled or pronounced or what language it's in. Let's just write in our own language or that of the intended reader and let translators translate and let the egotistical name-dropping go by the wayside. No need to show off how many old words we know. Let's just share the essence of the information. I suspect neither God nor gods nor the Universe has anything to do with the super-coolio-powerful-fancy-"original"-name game. If you think that any particular word or name in any particular language is, in and of itself, very powerful and should not be changed ever... I would suggest that your focus needs work. More people will be able to understand more easily if we use common words, no matter how novel the concept may be when the words are pieced together. If we load up with terminology, ala dimensions on dynastic levels with codes and energy frequency combinations, then we can just watch the eyes glaze over. Common everyday language with common everyday analogies would be much clearer, leaving less room for misunderstanding. 06.09.2001 |
