Doom. Gloom. Alien race invades Earth to either enslave us or at least make us behave or maybe even save us from ourselves.
Riiiiiight. I love Sci-Fi... in movies... in books... ie, in FICTION. But, every time ETs are brought into the mix for our actual future, it just feels wrong to me. I'm trying to figure out why that is. Am I short-sighted or just disturbed by what appears to be a remake of the old Us-vs-Them ploy? In all of my visions and channelings, I just don't see ETs factored in. I don't deny the existence of others in the Universe, only that they have no need or reason to land on us. I suppose that All shall be revealed (either verified or debunked) in due time. I don't place all the blame on the propogandists. They're taking advantage of opportunities we give them. The tyrants are forwarding their own agendas. If we were forwarding ours (preferrably with compassion!) then those folks wouldn't have a prayer. The most insidious threats are the tyrants who really do think they've got the greater good in mind and heart. They are absolutely about the scariest thing in the universe. They think they have THE Answer and they have the right, the duty, to force it on all others. Always we seem to need leadership from outside, which wouldn't be bad except that a whole lot of wannabe leaders only really lust for the power and feel ever more powerful with sheep following them, as noted. Why have we been so content to be sheep? We seem to have worked through all the 'mundane' hierarchys now. We had tribal leaders and regional and national and continental and a half-assemblage of global and an ambiguous heavenly high guard. So now our need for a "Them" is going to be met by creations beyond that? Like lizard/dragon creatures from outer space or such? Ya. They may be out there. That doesn't mean we need Them to lorde over Us. They're welcome to drop by and be neighborly, if they want. We've been on this crossroad for about fifty years. I think we'll make the right choice. For one thing, all the propogandists and prognosticators of the Them-from-Outerspace pulp have consistently failed to manifest their creations. Maybe there are enough of us to quash that gambit. I certainly hope this is true. We've been ignoring this lesson of autonomy for a whale of a long time. We're due. Soon. WHEN are we going to get over the need for THEM and learn to just be all of US? 06.09.2001/06.19.2001 |
