Is it not the emergence of the 'godliness' in each of us which allows us to appreciate each other just as we are?
The ultimate power of the eternal infinity does this already, knows we are just as we should be at every moment, whether we're resting, searching, making great strides, or 'screwing up' and learning the hard way. The 'divine' does not force us into any moulds or chain us to a particular path. We try to do that to each other, until we manage to see more from the perspective of the whole creation and allow each part to unfold, even if there are vast differences from our own individual unfolding. Anything we appreciate in another, is appreciation of something within ourselves or an aspect we would like to cultivate. Anything which we find disconcerting in another is likely an aspect of ourselves with which we are struggling to change or have denied. It's very important to reach out and connect. It is also important to resist the urge to force others to our own way of doing things for that is to deny that we are all equally valuable within the sight of God or whatever you call that ultimate presence. 03.13.2002 |
