Power We have much to learn as we open our minds to all the possibility floating around in the cosmos. I rely on the science as a way to grasp the power or energy that is available to me as a spirit. If I am made of the same fabric and forces of the universe and if these are available to each other, then, they are also available to me. The details of precisely how this is done may be inconsequential. Once aware and then awake and open to possibilities, I can try things. I can play at learning. I can ask for help and trust that I will get it. I will learn to recognize kindred souls and we can help each other. I can recognize or acknowledge the power and energies inherent in the whole system and as I trust more and reach more, I can tap into that and use it. Yes, I can tap into the energy of the universe and use it, because I am a part of it and it is a part of me. IF we are headed toward a single collapsed point of the universe and IF we have been there before but we're currently expanded to where we are today, heading back to that single collapsed point in some future, THEN we are the universe. Each of us is the universe and yet we are collectively the universe and the universe is us. However, most of us don't know that yet. You are obviously aware of something and searching. Don't let the confusion of semantics and finite Earth/human thinking keep your mind too boxed up to at least glimpse what is possible. Those of us who do feel a part of it all can see the opportunities for making good use of the inherent power. Theoretically, all of the power within the universe is accessible. It may be a long time before we're developed to the point of using more than a very small portion of it, but it's there. I believe that this is how spirit work is accomplished. Part of the work, maybe even most of it, is learning of the power and learning to use it. Not only do we get involved in the purposeful harnessing of energy but also in receiving gifts through the same medium from kindred spirits here on this planet and from spirit guides on some other plane(s) and from the collective whole Oneness that is Us. What we have is a mesh of connections, much like the internet or web of computers, all connected through phone lines, cable, satellite beams, microwave transmission, fiber optics, etc. In a spirit context, each node is a soul, a spirit, a spark of energy, a mind or consciousness. In between, connecting each to others, are bundles of energies. I've mentioned what these energies are and that they surely mimic or duplicate energies and forces we already understand such as electricity, gravity, magnetism and so forth. What makes us different from other such connections is our unique and independent spirit or will. We do not transfer blindly just because we receive. We make choices and decisions. We redirect and interpret. But, overall, we make a web of energy and just like with the internet, we can get to any point in it, even if it takes several hops to get there. Honestly, if you cannot accept most of what I've been telling you as at least possible then you're going to have a really difficult time accepting any gifts you are given or any power/energy you may access. I remind you again that what I have said may not be how it is, verbatim, but if your mind closes off, you are once again a sleepwalker. You have to find your own way to think of these issues so that you free yourself up for taking what is rightfully yours and using it without tripping up anyone else. Have you heard the phrase "Think outside the box"? Well, this is all outside the box. This is more than your human senses will tell you is possible in the tangible world. There is more than the human box you're in and what it can percieve. Use the spark that sets you apart from animal instinct and yet may help you tune into it when needed. If you're going to get all tangled up in the minutia of how solid my science is or in mincing my semantics, you're closing up. Open more than the small portion of your mind that is used to function in your human body. Open your soul and use that to begin experiencing more than the cramped space of the Box. When you open your spirit, you will receive messages in symbols and codes and not necessarily in clearly understood phrases with definite interpretations. While I have spent a lot of words speaking of science and such, the spirit is more abstract and ethereal than that. You will have to depend on your feelings and intuition to determine what you receive and the direction of your journey. You have to let go of what is concrete and verifiable by strict detailed laws heretofore used for dealing with reality. Do you recall the whole reflection concept? It's fairly easy to see why our reactions alone can be a hint of our higher selves, at least with respect to the behavior of others. That doesn't appear to require any use of power, just contemplation, right? Well, think about this. When the animal spirits are bringing us lessons, that puts a new light on the power equation. As mentioned, when I am perturbed by creatures who are just doing what comes natural to them, then they're trying to get me to listen and learn or my higher consciousness is trying to get me to pay attention. So where's the power? I will tell you this, there has been an almost complete absence of spiders in my house since I consciously paid heed to Spider's lessons. Previously I'd see four or five a day. The annoying woodpeckers seem to only pound on my house on rare occasion now and always when I am much too absorbed and getting aggravated with a task. They still come to remind me of 'relaxed intensity' but they don't have to do it as often because I'm learning that skill. Pay attention now. Think about what I'm saying here. It's not just that I am reading the world differently... I have changed the world. I no longer have reason to call spiders to me in numbers. I don't need for Woodpecker to come and remind me to relax, at least not as much as I used to. It's not that I'm ignoring them now. I am keenly aware of such things, more than ever. They just don't come. I am no longer calling them for assistance. My higher spirit was doing this to get through to my conscious self. My higher spirit was summoning creatures to deliver messages to me. Now that... is power. Perhaps you still don't believe it. That's fine. You will. Eventually you cannot ignore it. Once you have experienced a hint from your own higher consciousness, then you may see that a lot of your previous notions of reality are so limited as to be binding on your spirit. You have to learn to loosen that. You have to remember to do it in a responsible way and to be cognizant of where you are and the greater effects you will have on the rest of the matrix, BUT you may dance or fly within the new freedom you discover. It feels so good to belong to all that is and also to be able to get out there and play in it! Just a reminder: In all things there is balance. Remember that with power there must be responsibility too. You and those around you may suffer greatly if you think you can tap the energies of the universe with no care for what shall happen as a result. I feel that if we draw energy using the lightness of our spirits, ie, for harmonious and cooperative reasons, then we are fairly safe in doing so. If we draw with malice or greed, then I feel we shall ultimately pay dearly for it and cause others to pay with us. Remember, we're all together in this. There's nothing wrong with selfish pleasure and such things. This adds to the lightness of being. But by greed I mean taking for yourself without regard to what you may be taking from another. Even in the infinite there is likely an accounting. Mind your cookie jar. (Power)
