Remotes
Suppose you pulled a person out of the 18th Century and stood them in your driveway in front of your garage door. Then, you took out your little remote control and pushed the button to make the garage door go up. You'd better be prepared with smelling salts for your old friend. Just wait until you show him the big light box in your living room which has little talking flat people in it and another little magic box you use to change the people in a flash. To the elder's eye, you performed magical levitation on the huge heavy door with an odd looking talisman. In a sense, you did perform a bit of magic. By pushing the button on the remote control, you invoked the small energy from the battery which communicated by a beam to an electric eye to engage the electric motor to draw on a larger source of energy to lift the door. You exercised your will upon the door. If you had done anything so fantastic and strange in the 1700's, or even spoke of it, you'd have been burned at the stake or drowned. How could you possibly explain our modern day wonders even to someone like Ben Franklin who had a concept of electricity? I guess you'd have to start with lightning but then you'd have to know an awful lot about the specifics of electricity, light and sound to give him a coherent, precise thread to get to how a TV and its remote control unit actually work. Even then, he might consider you mad or simply wouldn't be able to follow. This has been my challenge in presenting the concepts of what is available to us as awakened spirits. My science is a gloss over. My semantics are weak and limited. Yet, I have made the attempt because it is within my power and need to do so as part of my own spiritual agenda. I am trying to tell you that you can reach out and connect with other spirits through the energy that is you and the energy they possess. If you continue to extend your reach, you can link to all points of energy throughout the cosmos and draw upon it, revel in it, feed it and feel the Oneness within yourself. I have expressed this in many ways in the hope that perhaps you can make your own special connection with your own understanding. You may not have any use for what I've described which helped me. You may or may not believe what I say I have experienced. That's okay. When you experience your own events, you may not believe them at first either. It's easy to discount them or explain them away. It's hard to know what to take seriously and what to write off as pure fancy. Even pure fancy is valuable. It is more likely to express the wishes of your heart and soul. At some point you will learn to sift out what will work for you. Sometimes you just have to take in an event and let it stew awhile before you get the full impact of it. Other events may be the first in a series that eventually add up to some revelation or ultimate action. I recommend writing down events as soon as you can. This helps you later when you have doubts. If you can go back and read your own details of an event, then you can feel more assured that you aren't losing your mind, you're finally using it. Independent confirmation is always nice too. It's helpful to consult with other spirits who may have witnessed an event or can read your reaction to it. Even if they can only share a similar personal incident, that will be helpful. If you can find more normally accepted proof, that helps as well, but it isn't necessary and may not be available. Always express your gratitude for cooperation from the universe. Acknowledge all blessings, great and small. This may help solidify a focal point or channel for you to use in the future. Let the energy flow in both directions. It works better that way. When you receive, give back with thankfulness, if nothing else. The point of it all is to be, to do, to experience, to enjoy. You are perfectly capable of that. You always have been.
