* Wenndolyne smiles brightly to Simon with a tear in her eye, her heart leaping into her throat
* Simon walks close to Wolf, looking at all the folks and smiling, winking at Llew.

* Wenndolyne tries not to tear up, unsuccessfully
* Simon nervously scratches his nose...listening to his words.
* Morninglord smiles
<LordWolf> 12 Simon, listen to what I am about to say carefully
* Wenndolyne idly straightens Simon's collar
* ^Eilonwy smiles ... looking down at Natalie
* Fane finds his place in rafters
* Simon nods
* Simon fidgets a bit where he stands....listening.
<LordWolf> y12 Do you swear, from this day hence to call the House of Wolf as yer own? To honor it above all others? To uphold its name?
* Simon swallows then says loudly, "Yes...I do."
* Wenndolyne watches the exchange of words, vows between Simon and Wolf, through a teary blur... but with a bright smile
* Simon takes a breath, looking at the crowd in the great hall for a moment then back to Wolf.
<LordWolf> 12 Do you agree to follow my lead, to allow me to guide and instruct you? Do you swear to put the Pack's needs above thy own and even above thyself?
* Wenndolyne puts a hand softly to Simon's shoulder for courage and support
* Simon says loudly, matching the volume of Wolf's voice, "Yes."
* LadyElspeth smiles.
<Simon> I do!
<LordWolf> 12 In return I swear to guide you in the ways of right and wrong. To listen to you and comfort you. To protect you as my own. To love you above myself and all others, save the Pack.
* Ione smiles
<Simon> I do! Uh...oh...nevermind.
* Wenndolyne giggles lightly
* Simon looks down and blushes
* LadyElspeth giggles.
* Fane croaks
* Wenndolyne whispers "It's okay"
* LordWolf 4 smiles and nods.
* LordWolf 4 reaches over and opens the small box and removes the small silver dagger therein
* Simon stiffens a a bit, seeing the blasted knife come out into plain view...
<LordWolf> 12 it's ok lad, it will not hurt
* Fane shivvers at the sight of the dagger

* Wenndolyne holds firmly to Simon's shoulder
* LordWolf 4 reaches for the lads hand
* Simon looks at the knife, then at Wolf and extends his hand
<Lance_N_Classy> **Lance grimaces just a wee bit (skittish at the sight of blood ;) )
* LordWolf 4 takes the hand and lays the blade diagonal across itspalm and then looks to the lads eyes
* LadyElspeth draws her brows together slightly and winces again.
* Wenndolyne whispers to Simon "Trust now... trust always"
* Simon gives little nods
* LordWolf 4 pulls the blade quickly across the palm, opening it to the bone
* LadyElspeth gasps.

* Simon winces at the cut, biting his bottom lip then cries out.
* Wenndolyne cringes

* LordWolf 4 quickly wraps his fingers around the blade and yanks it, cutting his own palm

* Fane falls off his perch in surprise....... then rights himself and flies out the window to spread the joyous news
