((I don't know why I am bent on throwing this into the mix, but I have been thinking about it for a while. Anyway, this is part 1of 3. I think there is residual stuff to work with here? If we want to use it. Can be tossed although it explains why NS came to Camelot.))

Nightshade rose from the bed in the guestroom she'd taken in the Keep and walked about pacing. She had wondered for long hours, what to do since her arrival and discovery of the Lady's absence. She again took out the Lady's missive and read it by the window in full moonlight. Nightshade whispered to herself "He must be told." Spurred to action, she dressed quickly in her dark robes and slipped out to the library. She lit a candle there and sat to pen a letter to the Lord of Wolf Keep.

The candle had burned down a bit as Nightshade finished re-reading her note. She paused a moment in a sigh, still not totally certain, but somehow urged to do this. She then folded the parchment carefully around the Lady's original missive. Her pale thin fingers creased the paper before she took out her own seal and wax to secure the papers in one neat little packet.

Nightshade put out the candle in the library and made her way back to her room in the dark. She vowed to awaken early the next morn to kindly ask the Chamberlain to forward the parchment packet to Lord Wolf.

M'Lord Wolf,

I am still not certain whether it is my place to do what I am about to, but I believe that this is the right action. Alas, I know my words meander but this is not an easy task I undertake. This eve I did, for brief moments, watch you with the lad at the dock. I knew then that you had compassion enough to hear a tale I have to tell. Please bear with me as I circle to it. I am not practiced at writing much.

Some years ago I met your Lady Wenndolyne. I chanced upon her after a situation that shall be explained later. Suffice it to say that this was an event of import in her life and mayhap to yours as well. If she has not heretofore mentioned it, I am truly sorry to be the one to divulge this to you. Alas, I meander again. After all is said I think you shall see why I have been in a dilemma deciding whether to even share all of this with you.

Please, please do not continue the next page of my writing, before reading the missive from your Lady. This is very important to understand my coming here. To understand my response, you must first read her request of me. I came as soon as I read her missive and I fear I may have to leave before I can answer her in person, hence I shall give my answers to you, as I can.

....... end part 1.....
